Apparently I have a one gallon commute to work. I recently moved into a new house, and according to Google Maps, my house in Waltham is about 10 miles from my office in downtown Boston. With gas prices the way they are, I am surprised that Realtors do not advertise this fact in their listings. If I were looking at homes in the Metro West, and saw that some of the towns are within 10-12 miles of downtown, that would be a selling point. Sure, not a determining factor, but a swing vote maybe.
